Recently visited Guernsey in the Channel Islands for the first time and walked along the coastline one evening from Portelet Bay to Pleinmont Point, with its dramatic cliff top views overlooking the Les Hanois lighthouse.
There is nothing more relaxing then to head down by the sea and watch another day end, as the sun goes down over the horizon at Lihou Island in Guernsey.
On the eastern side of St Ives bay, sitting 300 meters high is the Godrevy Lighthouse which was built in 1859 to protect shipping along the stones reef.
